OBSBOT Joins Wildcard as Official Creativity Partner
This year, OBSBOT joins Wildcard as the Official Creativity Partner to tell the story of Wildcard Rocket League and its journey through the Raleigh Major, Esports World Cup, and the RLCS World Championship later this fall.
As official brand ambassadors for OBSBOT, Lachlan “Fever” Aitchison, Daniel “Torsos” Parsons, Jon “bananahead” Anastasakis, and head coach James “Jimmah” Forshaw get access to industry-leading videography technology. With cameras like the Tail 2 and Meet Series webcams, OBSBOT will help Wildcard capture behind-the-scenes moments of the highs and lows of competition.
Wildcard’s Rocket League team is set to have a busy schedule the rest of the year. Coming off three consecutive first place finishes across OCE Open 3, 4, and 5, the team heads to the Raleigh Major next. From June 26th to June 29th, the Raleigh Major pits the top-16 teams in the world against each other. Wildcard will have to finish top-8 during the group stage to advance to the playoffs of the tournament.
Following the Raleigh Major, Wildcard will be back in action in August for the Esports World Cup in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Here, the team will compete for a slice of the $1 million prize pool. And to cap off the year, Wildcard will travel to France in September to take on the RLCS World Championship.
Across these tournaments, OBSBOT and Wildcard will bring fans closer to the action through a series of tournament vlogs powered by OBSBOT’s cutting-edge smart videography technology.
