RAINBOW SIX 2025 ROSTER UPDATE
International talent rounds out North American Core
Wildcard Rainbow Six is excited to announce the latest changes to our roster for the 2025 competitive year. We are pleased to welcome Leonardo 'dash' Lopes and Joan 'bbySharKK' Benito to the organization, as well as Kyle 'Wifi' Galati in a substitute role. They will join Evan 'Kanzen' Bushore, Jacob 'Bae' Dowling, and Brady 'Spiker' Lukens for Blast's first event of the year - RELOAD - hosted in Rio de Janeiro this upcoming May.
Fresh off an international victory at the Montreal Major last November, Leonardo Lopes, aka 'dash', brings with him a veteran voice both in and out of the server. Over the past two years, Lopes has qualified for six of the last nine major events, and brings with him a championship mindset that he has already begun to impart onto this young roster. His vision for the game enables his teammates to play with aggression and confidence, grounded in strong, fundamental Siege gameplay.
As an emerging talent in European regional leagues, Joan Benito, aka bbySharKK, has multiple finalist appearances across tournaments featuring up-and-coming talents from the greater European-MENA League (EML) region. Benito joins the team as a vocal fragger, with the ability to not only bring the heat with firepower, but to also assist throughout the round with adaptations and opportunistic playcalling. He attributes his confidence to call on-the-fly adjustments to his previous experience as an in-game leader.
"Siege players today must be proactive", states Joe Reyes, Director of Analytics and Performance at Wildcard. "Teams are getting better and better at identifying win conditions quickly, and capitalizing on the smallest of gaps. This team is incredibly exciting to listen in to. Every player is capable of taking ownership within a round, making an adaptation, or guiding the rest of the team towards an advantageous opening. The buy-in from everyone is very high, and our players have been rapidly iterating and improving in just a short time."
The team will debut in Rio de Janeiro at RELOAD 2025, coinciding with the launch of the highly anticipated title update - Rainbow Six Siege X. For the first time in Siege's ten year history, the core game will be modernized, featuring vastly improved map visuals and operator animations, an audio propagation system to more accurately depicts sound through destructible environments, and many quality of life changes such as advanced rappelling, player communications and protections, interactable environmental gadgets, and additional limited-time events. The Siege X Beta even featured a brand new 6v6 game mode - Dual Front - introducing a faster paced way to play and engage with Rainbow Six's unique gameplay elements. Siege X is scheduled to release to the public June 10th, and will be utilized for all professional competitive tournaments going forward.
With the RELOAD event just around the corner, Wildcard Rainbow Six fans will not have to wait long before this new international roster debuts! We are more than excited to watch these guys on their journey, and hope you will join us. Stay tuned for additional content surrounding the team via our social media platforms below:
